April is a disastrous month

Most people who know me know I have an April theory.  Maybe it is because I was born in April, maybe it is because I was born on Hitler’s birthday, or maybe it is because it is true. I believe it because every year leading up to my birthday the cable channels start with the specials – the Civil War, Titanic, Oklahoma City, etc.  Here are some people and events you may have heard of just to give you an idea (most of them are not good):

Mutiny on the Bounty led (28th 1789)

Los Angeles Riots erupted (29th 1992)

Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig explosion in the Gulf (20th 2010)

I could continue, but I decided this was enough to illustrate my point, especially since the month only has 30 days and I have 34 on the list so far.  I skipped all the people (including a few presidents) and events that you probably have not heard of or don’t attach historical significance to, just to keep the list short.  Here is a link so you can compare your birth month to mine. http://www.historyplace.com/specials/calendar/index.html

I have already done this, of course, but good luck to you.  If you want to bet when a disaster will occur (whether it be man made or an Act of God) I would recommend you put your money on April.
